When your loved one is in need of a little extra assistance with their everyday tasks it is usually a much better adjustment to gradually add home care into their daily routine. This was done very gradually so as not to take his control and independence from him. Eventually, his care was extended to around the clock. We cared for him a little over six years and he remained at home with his freedom and dignity intact.
